The instrument should be placed away from direct sunlight protected from dampness and should be kept covered when not in use. A bi-annual servicing and tuning will enhance the performance of your piano retaining its concert pitch.
Chemical treatment to prevent woodrot should be done at least every six months. Regular polishing with a car wax will keep the piano giving it a mint look.
